But nothing is quite like it seems in real life, as Australia's Shirley Barrett explains to Andrew L. Urban. And as she shows in her new film, Walk the Talk.

Young English star Jamie Bell plays Billy Elliot, the working class kid who discovers his love for classical dance is greater than his interest in boxing, much to his dad's dismay. Set during the English miners' strike in the 1980s, the film has reignited the popularity of English films. Here, the filmmakers, led by director Stephen Daldry, and the stars, led by Jamie and Julie Walters, who plays his ballet teacher, chat about the making of the film.
