FILMINK AWARDS 2006 - WINNERS

WOLF CREEK WINS FEATHERS
Crash was voted Best Film and Bewitched Worst Film, in Filmink Magazine’s first publicly accessible awards presentation at Sydney’s State Theatre on Wednesday May 3, 2006, with Wolf Creek taking home the awards for Best Australian Film as well as Best Movie to Ruffle Feathers.


Several Australian actors acted as presenters at the awards (for films released in 2005), including Steve Bisley, David Field, Emily Barclay, Abe Forsyth as well as filmmakers Khoa and Ann Do. Filmink’s editors Dov Kornitz and Erin Free also handed out awards, and Russell Crowe’s alternate band, The Ordinary Fear of God performed.

Sponsored by Movie Extra, the Filmink Awards are voted by readers of the magazine.
