10/4/2008: CLUBLAND GAINS MORE KUDOS IN FRANCE

Cherie Nowlan’s Clubland has won its second major film festival prize in France, winning the Jury Prize at the recent Valenciennes Film Festival. Presented by President of the Jury, acclaimed French actor/director Niels Arestrup, this latest European success follows the St Tropez Film Festival - The Rencontres Internationales du Cinéma des Antipodes – where Clubland received the Audience Award.

Clubland will be released in France by Wild Bunch later in the year.

“Wild Bunch, our French distributor, has been very supportive of the film and this second win augurs well for a successful release in France later in the year. The film opens through Italian distributor Lucky Red in Italy, in mid-April,” said Producer, Rosemary Blight.
