24/4/2014: MOVIES NOW -25th MOVIE CLUB SEASON

Movies Now, the ‘movie club’ returns for its 25th season (from Wednesday, July 9) of mystery films screened prior to their commercial release, presented by Andrew L. Urban, at Dendy Newton (Sydney) under the auspices of Sydney University’s Centre for Continuing Education

The previous course (Feb 26 – April 2) was much appreciated, if this response is any guide: “Another brilliant season of Movies Now (this is now my fourth)! I particularly enjoyed the films Belle and The Grand Budapest Hotel, as well as The Armstrong Lie. Wrap-up drinks are always a very nice touch at the end of show! Many thanks to Andrew, I hope Movies Now continues for many years to come.”

The screening is followed by a discussion of the various elements of the film, led by Urban in tandem with a special, well informed guest, usually a filmmaker.
