LONG KISS GOODNIGHT, THE

SYNOPSIS:
Samantha Caine (Geena Davis) is a suburban school teacher suffering from amnesia. When her mysterious past begins to haunt her idyllic life, she sets out on a desperate (and very physical) search to discover her true identity.

Review by Louise Keller:
The Long Kiss Goodnight is a good no-brainer action thriller that will appeal to its young target market. The plot of school teacher with amnesia discovering she is a government assassin is pretty over-the-top, but it's entertaining enough. Besides Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson make an appealing duo and the action is spectacular and director Renny Harlin )Davisí husband at the time) has made a rousing entertainment out of familiar material. There is also a sharp sense of humour at play, which helps us when we think itís all just too preposterous.
