AUSTRALIAN DVD AWARDS 2004 – THE NOMINATIONS
With four major publicly voted category nominations, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, towers above all comers in this year’s DVD Awards nominees, which includes the surprise entry of Kath & Kim’s second TV season in the Best DVD category – and the aptly titled Donnie Darko.
In its third year, the Australian DVD Awards, organised by Region 4 Magazine and sponsored by Pioneer Electronics, The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, Urban Cinefile and others, comprises categories voted by thousands of the DVD buying public; technical categories are voted by industry panels and will be announced later in February.
