Movie reviews:
MONEY MONSTER
(US, 2016) Dir: Jodie Foster. Stars George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Jack O'Connell. "The shifting nature of relationships is one of the many strengths of this tense, top-drawer thriller that is boosted by the considerable star power of George Clooney and Julia Roberts... I sat on the edge of my seat throughout, " says Louise. "Jodi Foster's direction is faultless, squeezing the most out of the solid story as well as all the characters, not just the leads, " says Andrew.

Movie reviews:
QUEEN OF THE DESERT
(US, Morocco, 2015) Dir: Werner Herzog. Stars Nicole Kidman, James Franco, Robert Pattinson. "As it is, Herzog's film is a bit of a yawn and a tease - leading us into the desert but leaving us high and dry," says Louise. "The result is a meandering film of disjointed experiences, albeit interesting and beautifully filmed," says Andrew.

Movie review:
IS THIS THE REAL WORLD
(Aus, 2015) Dir: Martin McKenna.Stars Sean Keenan, Charlotte Best, Matt Colwell, Suzie Porter. "Absolutely first class performances ... (but) he story is not strong or layered enough to carry us along, " says Andrew.

Movie review:
GOD WILLING
(Italy, 2015) Dir: Edoardo Maria Falcone. Stars Marco Giallini, Alessandro Gassman, Laura Morante. "It's an appealing premise to have an atheist dad try to come to terms with a son wishing to be a Catholic priest...The decision to play it for laughs is a disappointment for those who like their humour dry and their conflicts real, " says Andrew.

NEW DVDS:
CAROL
Stars Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara. "Chemistry, integrity and love are the foundations of Todd Haynes' emotionally gripping drama in which Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara deliver haunting performances," says Louise.

STEVE JOBS
Stars Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet. "Aaron Sorkin's screenplay and Danny Boyle's direction give us a Steve Jobs profile that does not idolise or flatter him. As a result, the film gains respect and we gain insight," says Andrew.
