Movie review:
CRAZY STUPID LOVE
(US, 2011) Stars Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Jonah Bobo. " .. a poignant and very funny screenplay that explores the heartbreak, the thrill, the disappointment and the discovery as love manifests, bubbles and froths," says Louise. "As the film whips from funny to forlorn, from robust to restrained, it retains its essential tone of a torn humanity," says Andrew.
INTERVIEW - Andrew L. Urban meets the pain merchants of comedy, directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

Movie reviews:
THE WHISTLEBLOWER
(US, 2011) Stars Rachel Weisz, Monica Belucci, Benedict Cumberbatch, Vanessa Redgrave, David Strathairn. "It's a story that should be told and Rachel Weisz's knockout performance is filled with integrity. My only reservation lies in the storytelling which never elicits the heartbreak it should," says Louise. "The film's success relies on its veracity, not only in characterisation but in creating a sense of place, which it does superbly, recreating the crumbling post-war Bosnia, filled with detail and gritty realism," says Andrew.

Movie reviews:
PROJECT NIM
(UK, 2011) Documentary. "I went through a myriad of emotions in this extraordinarily moving documentary about a chimp that becomes an experiment and the people whose lives it touches," says Louise. " .. the interactions between Nim and the humans who live with him or cross his path makes for engaging cinema," says Andrew.
