Movie review:
WOMEN HE'S UNDRESSED
(Aus, 2015) Dir: Gillian Armstrong. Documentary with Darren Gilshenan, Deborah Kennedy. "With sheer artistry, Gillian Armstrong helms this rich, vibrant and fascinating film, about Orry-Kelly, a uniquely talented artist with many facets, steering us through the calm, turbulent and glistening waters of his life and times," says Louise.

Movie review:
ANT-MAN
(US, 2015) Dir: Peyton Reed. Stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale. "Refreshingly simple and loads of fun, Ant-Man maximizes on its point of difference of its smallest super-hero by coating it with lots of laughter and a likeable vibe," says Louise.

Movie review:
RUBEN GUTHRIE
(Aus, 2015) Dir: Brendan Cowell. Stars Patrick Brammall, Alex Dimiriades, Abbey Lee, Harriet Dyer, Jeremy Sims, Brenton Thwaites, Aaron Bertram, Robyn Nevin, Jack Thompson. "Based on Cowell's stage play, the film is as high spirited as the subject matter, delving into the social pressures surrounding the drinking culture and its effects on life, love and family," says Louise.

At a glance:
TOP 20
Short and sweet (or not) opinions on the most popular current releases. An easy reference for choosing which movie to see tonight or tomorrow or right now! (Occasionally we also slip in a few of our favourites if they don't make the top 20)

NEW DVDS:
TOP FIVE
Stars Chris Rock. I love Top Five. "There's an appealing energy about it: it feels like a cross between a stand up comedy routine and a fly-on-the-wall glimpse into celebrity life, skimming, prodding and delving into issues big and small," says Louise.

INHERENT VICE
Stars Joaquin Phoenix, Jena Malone, Reese Witherspoon, Josh Brolin, Benicio Del Toro, Owen Wilson. "We can almost smell the waft of pot as it permeates in almost every scene and we become enveloped in a world of corruption, murder, kidnapping and other illicit pursuits with a complex web of flawed characters," says Louise.

Competition winners:
PROJECT ALMANAC BLU-RAY
To win Blu-ray copies, courtesy Paramount Pictures, we asked: If you could go back in time, what if anything would you change and why? Michael John (NSW): The day I bought a lottery ticket and let an old lady go ahead of me in the queue. She won first prize. This time I would definitely push in front of her.

AUSTRALIAN FILMS
Every Australian film we have ever reviewed (film / DVD / video release), or have reported from the set, or featured in any way, is listed here, going back to films made even before the launch of Urban Cinefile, such as The Piano, Romper Stomper, Muriel's Wedding, Scott Hicks' The Boys are Back (pic), The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and dozens more. Travelfile:
EGER - HUNGARY
Famous for its Bull's Blood, but the blood of the Hungarian heroes of the 16th century siege of Eger by Ottoman Turks also runs in its veins, and now there is also chocolate, as Andrew L. Urban found on his visit.
