Movie review:
GRIMSBY
(US, 2016) Dir: Louis Leterrier. Stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Mark Strong, Isla Fisher, Penelope Cruz, Rebel Wilson. "There are some scenes that are impossible to erase, namely the one involving copious amounts of ejaculated elephant semen, in what can only be described as the most offensive elephant joke in history. Grimsby is an unadulterated orgy of obscene, puerile humour doused with touches of potentially clever satire as it speeds along in its action-movie guise," says Louise.

Movie review:
SCARE CAMPAIGN
(Aust, 2015) Dir: Colin & Cameron Cairnes. Stars Olivia DeJonge, Meegan Warner, Josh Quong Tart, Sigrid Thornton. "Propelled by an ever-inventive screenplay, Scare Campaign revels in surprising us while scaring us. To its credit, we don't see the twists coming, and the Russian Doll-type structure gives the film a rich texture," says Andrew.

Movie review:
THE WILL TO FLY
(Aust, 2016) Dir: Katie Bender, Leo Baker. Documentary featuring Lydia Lassila. "This limitless marriage of acrobatics and ski jump is beautiful to watch - and Lydia's story is involving and inspiring," says Louise.

Movie review:
SPEAR
(Aust, 2016) Dir: Stephen Page. Stars The Bangarra Dance Theatre Company. "With its themes of death, spirituality and survival, the film is bold and uncompromising. It may be too uncompromising for some," says Louise.

UPCOMING FILMS
[Coming in April, Rams stars Sigurour Sigurjonsson, Theodor Juliusson. "With a host of awards, not least Un Certain Regard (Cannes, 2015), Rams comes to Australia well recommended, something a foreign language film always needs, not least from the lesser known cinema of Iceland," says Andrew.]
