Movie review:
RAMS
(Iceland, 2015) Dir: Grimur Hakonarson. Stars Sigurour Sigurjonsson, Theodor Juliusson, Charlotte Boving. "Deceptively seductive in its veracity and subtlety, Rams engages us, intrigues us and finally moves us beyond our expectations," says Andrew. "It's a story about sheep, estranged brothers and following rules - or not. The story may be simple, but the sentiments are not - we are fascinated, horrified, amused and greatly moved," says Louise.

COMPETITIONS
DADDY'S HOME
Win one of 10 DVD copies of Daddy's Home, the family comedy tale starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, courtesy Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Available on Blu-ray and DVD from April 7, 2016.

Movie review:
THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR
(US, 2016) Dir: Cedric Nicolas-Troyan. Stars Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain, Chris Hemsworth, Emily Blunt. "Liquid gold morphing into the divine Charlize Theron and Emily Blunt as the glam ice queen are two highlights of this special effects driven tale that struggles valiantly to invent a coherent plot to hold it together," says Louise.

Movie review:
WHERE TO INVADE NEXT
(US, 2015) Dir: Michael Moore. Documentary with Michael Moore. "I am not a full blown Michael Moore fan at all, but I recognize a stirring piece of home video when I see one," says Andrew.

Movie reviews:
ZOOTOPIA
(US, 2016) Dir: Byron Howard, Rich Moore. Voices Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba. "It's a bunny movie ... sorry, a buddy movie ... in family-fun land, where the rookie cop (a bunny) has to team up with a small-time crim (a fox) to track down bigger crooks. Anthropomorphic as it is, there is plenty of innocent fun, " says Andrew. "It's a gorgeous film beautifully executed with a story that will have you smiling throughout. Don't miss it!" says Louise.

UPCOMING FILMS
[Coming in May, The Man Who Knew Infinity, starring Jeremy Irons, Dev Patel. "It's a great story and so far untold on screen, of a born maths genius from Madras, who even at the age of 7 was revealing mathematical formulas of some complexity," says Andrew.]

Short and sweet (or not) opinions on the most popular current releases. An easy reference for choosing which movie to see tonight or tomorrow or right now! (Occasionally we also slip in a few of our favourites if they don 't make the top 20)

NEW DVDS:
CREED
Stars Sylvester Stallone. Michael B. Jordan. "Neither fans nor those new to the Rocky legend will be disappointed with what writer director Ryan Cooglar has done with Stallone's characters in what is probably his last appearance," says Andrew.

DADDY'S HOME
Stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg. "Sometimes we all need a dose of nonsense, and this zany comedy fits the bill perfectly with its continual stream of hilarious jousting between Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, " says Louise.

SNOOPY & CHARLIE BROWN: THE PEANUTS MOVIE
Voices of Bill Melende, Noah Schnapp, Alex Garfin. "Crisp clean animation on a sea of colour form the foundation of this endearing family film that brings Charles M. Schulz's beloved comic strip characters to the big screen," says Louise.

Competition winners:
THE RUNNER DVD
To win, we asked: Who among family and friends would you ask to help you in time of need and why? Michael Lai: My father. The oldest and fittest of our clan. He isn't called Superman for nothing!
